is a non-profit, non-political, and voluntary organization dedicated to transforming lives through compassion, innovation, and community empowerment.
Established in Karanda, Monteswar, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, AVASH works relentlessly to uplift marginalized sections of society, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), women, children, and economically weaker groups.
At AVASH, we believe that real change begins with compassion and grows through innovation. Our efforts span education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, environmental protection, skill development, and social welfare — creating a holistic ecosystem where opportunity meets dignity.

Good health is every individual’s right. Our initiatives promote healthcare access, awareness, and wellness for communities that need it most.
Empowerment begins with inclusion. We help individuals—especially women and youth—gain the skills, confidence, and resources to lead independent, meaningful lives.
Through compassion and action, we reach out to the vulnerable and marginalized. Our social programs aim to build dignity, equality, and shared humanity.
Sewing Training Program
AVASH Trust has launched a 9-day residential sewing training program from 25 March to 2 April 2026 at Balaka Residential Centre, Jhargram, in collaboration with Usha Company and with support from local partner Suchetona.
A total of 15 women participants are receiving hands-on training in sewing, garment making, and basic entrepreneurship skills. After completion, each participant will be provided with a sewing machine to support self-employment.
This initiative aims to promote women empowerment, self-reliance, and grassroots entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for participants to uplift themselves and their communities.

Training Objectives
This program is designed to equip women with:
- Sewing machine operation skills
- Garment making and finishing techniques
- Basic design understanding
- Introduction to small-scale entrepreneurship
Participants are being trained under expert supervision, ensuring both technical knowledge and confidence building.
Empowering the Bardhaman
Upcoming Tribal Outreach Initiative by Avash Trust (আভাস ট্রাস্ট)
At Avash Trust, we believe true development begins at the grassroots. Our upcoming initiative for the tribal communities of Paschim Bardhaman focuses on children’s creativity, women’s empowerment, health, education, and self-reliance.

Winter Relief Drive
On the occasion of National Youth Day (12 January 2026), AVASH Trust successfully organized a Winter Relief Programme at various location, distributing blankets and winter clothing to homeless and vulnerable individuals at Brick Kiln and Railway Station of Memari,Shaktigarh, Barsul and Burdwan .
Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, the initiative aimed to provide warmth, dignity, and care to those affected by severe winter conditions. The programme was made possible through the generous support of donors, volunteers, and well-wishers who came forward to serve humanity.
